First,there is a very good, if pricey, e-book by B.L. Ochman, What Your Company Can Do with a Blog.
Ochman is a favorite Internet strategist, commentator and savvy

Buzz Marketing with Blogs For Dummies, Suzannah Gardner Excellent how-to book for beginner bloggers with great insights into marketing over the Internet.
Naked Conversations: How Blogs are Changing the Way Businesses Talk with Customers by Robert Scoble and Shel Israel with a great many examples of how businesses and individuals are using blogs today.
